Dr. Ng specializes in foot and ankle surgery for Advanced Orthopedic Sports Medicine Specialists. Dr. Ng grew up in Littleton, Colorado. Dr. Ng specializes primarily in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery and Trauma. Dr. Ng grew up in Littleton, Colorado, attended Littleton High School and did his undergraduate at the University of Colorado at Boulder. After attending undergraduate training at the University of Colorado, he then proceeded to attend William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago where he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Ng realized he enjoyed the challenge of dealing with complex foot and ankle reconstructive problems, as well as dealing with traumatic injury of the foot and ankle. He did his surgical residency in Houston, Texas at the Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency and Fellowship programs and once he completed his initial surgical residency, he did a one-year fellowship in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
Upon completion of his training, Dr. Ng practiced for two years in Houston and became Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He then joined Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine as a specialist to start practicing with the group back in his hometown of Denver, Colorado. He primarily specializes in surgical reconstruction of the foot and rearfoot and also dealing with traumatic injuries of the foot and ankle. He is also trained in total ankle arthroplasty including multiple different forms of total ankle replacements.
Dr. Ng currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the American Board of Podiatric Surgery as well as Chair of the Oral Foot exam for the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also currently on the Surgical Skills Committee for the American College of Foot And Ankle Surgeons and is also a clinical instructor and faculty instructor for multiple surgical schools and training courses sponsored by American College Of Foot And Ankle Surgeons. He has also served as Oral examiner for the Board examination process for Board certification in foot and ankle surgery for the past eight years.
In his spare time, Dr. Ng also enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing and golf, also is an avid martial artist and has multiple black belts in different styles and disciplines of Karate and currently trains in Muay Thai kickboxing.
